Different types of religion (even within any one religion) are beneficial for different types of people. It is like different kinds of medicines are beneficial for patients with different diseases, or different maths (arithmetic, geometry, algebra, calculus, etc.) are beneficial for grade school, high school and university students, or different kinds of food are beneficial for infants, active young people, retired elders, etc.

Within every religion there are mystics and legalists, liberals, orthodox, fundamentalists, activists, contemplatives, intellectuals, etc., as well as a variety of sects, schools, traditions or denominations. And many people believe in or follow no religion at all. We should be kind and loving to each and every one of them, whatever their religion or lack of it.

It may even be beneficial for some people to believe that “only my religion is right” so – even though we may disagree strongly – we should be kind and loving to them, too!

On Sunday afternoon, 17 December, 2023, four Esparto area men and four women, participated in a lively discussion at Hog Canyon Deli in Esparto about UFOs and extraterrestrials. An Esparto woman who happened to be present in the restaurant, hearing the purpose of the meeting before it started, at once exclaimed, “I saw a UFO! My husband and I were driving down Beamer in Woodland one evening about twenty years ago. After passing the freeway east of town, we saw a bright object hovering in the air in front of us. It was moving upward very slowly, then it suddenly shot off up into the sky. It didn’t make any sound at all. We both saw it!”
Kevin Bledsoe of Woodland then responded that, just a few weeks earlier, he had seen three lights in a large, perfect triangle shape to his left while he was travelling east down Highway 16 to his home after dark. “They looked like bright stars,” Bledsoe explained, “but seemed to block out the stars between them. I was driving, and couldn’t stop at the time. Thinking it was a UFO, but also that they could have just been three stars, I went back to the same place at the exact same time the next evening to look. The three lights weren’t there. Just to make sure, I went again the next night and, again, they weren’t there. All three nights the sky was perfectly clear.”

After this wonderful, unexpected introduction, Allan Keislar of Esparto formally started the meeting. He told about a good friend of his, the late Dr. James Harder, who was a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, when Allan was studying for his Ph.D. there. Harder was one of six scientists who testified before the U. S. House of Representatives Committee on Science and Astronautics in 1968 about UFOs. Committee members who knew about unknown craft travelling at thousands of miles an hour, much faster than any known human aircraft, and which could make sudden 90- or even 180-degree turns, wanted to find out about their propulsion systems. Harder, who had been scientifically studying UFOs and extraterrestrials for sixteen years by that time, testified that he believed these exotic craft were operated by persons from other planets who used a sort of advanced magneto-gravitic technology.

Before and during the 1990s, Harder had frequent meetings with friends in his Berkeley home about extraterrestrial life which Keislar often attended. At that time, Harder claimed to be in regular contact with various intelligent beings from other planets. He said (as he had testified in the U. S. Congress in 1968) that there were no less than 57 known different extraterrestrial races, at least 90 to 95 percent of them friendly or favorable to humanity.Harder and his friends believed that powerful, benevolent extraterrestrials have prevented selfish ones (and selfish human beings) from taking over or destroying our planet. However, these good space neighbors say that no one else is going to save us and we are the ones who must learn the truth, work together to expose and remove our own corrupt leaders, and then end war to establish world peace. Only then will we Earthlings be able to join with our extraterrestrial brothers and sisters in peace throughout the galaxy. (On 15 December, 1954, in the midst of widespread concern about many sightings of UFOs around the United States, President Eisenhower publicly announced that “an Air Force official had assured him that flying saucers were not invading the earth from outer space.” – New York Times, 16 December, 1954)

Keislar noted that, from 1968 until 2022, for 54 years, Congress never again publicly discussed UFOs or extraterrestrial life. For half a century, both the Pentagon and the U.S. Government denied the existence of intelligent beings or vehicles from outer space. However, in December 2017, the New York Times published videos of UFOs taken in 2004 by Navy airmen about 100 miles southwest of San Diego, and in 2015 off the east coast. In September 2019, the Navy officially confirmed these videos were real; in April 2020, the Pentagon did, too, as well as itself publicly releasing the videos.

On 26 July, 2023, much more about UFOs and extraterrestrials was revealed to the public, televised live, at a Security Subcommittee meeting of the U. S. House of Representatives’ Oversight Committee. Three military witnesses testified that they had either personally seen or knew about the existence of UFOs (now officially called UAPs, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena). One of them was David Grusch, a decorated Afghanistan combat veteran and former U.S. Air Force officer who worked for 14 years in Military Intelligence, much of it analyzing UAP reports and helping senior intelligence officials and Congressional leaders understand them. He testified under oath that he had learned in the course of his official duties about “a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program” and that, during official interviews with 40 high-level witnesses over four years, he was informed the U.S. Government is even in possession of non-human spacecraft along with bodies of their dead pilots.

Another witness was retired U. S. Navy pilot Cmdr. David Fravor, who saw the 2004 UFO off the coast of San Diego. He said that, before his own encounter on 14 November, 2004, Navy radar controllers had been watching UFOs moving in ways they could not explain: “The controller told us that these objects had been observed for over two weeks coming down from over 80,000 feet, rapidly descending to 20,000 feet, hanging out hours and then going straight back up.” For five minutes Fravor and three other Naval Air Force officers watched a UFO, without wings or rotors, hovering over the ocean and moving “erratically.” When they tried to get closer to the mysterious craft, “it rapidly accelerated and disappeared right in front of our aircraft, leaving no detectable turbulence.” Radar showed it was 60 miles away in less than a minute. Fravor also had told CNN on 19 December, 2017, that this object moved abruptly, “like a ping pong ball, bouncing off a wall,” and had “the ability to hover over the water, and then start a vertical climb, from basically zero up towards about 12,000 feet, and then accelerate in less than two seconds, and disappear.”

A third witness, former U. S. Navy pilot Ryan Graves, said he was flying an F-18 off the coast of Virginia in 2014 when he watched a UFO unlike any aircraft he had ever seen, hovering in one place despite hurricane-force winds. He said that UFO encounters in the region were “not rare or isolated” and that both military and commercial pilots saw objects “performing maneuvers that are unexplainable due to our current understanding of our technology and our capabilities as a country.” He added: “If everyone could see the sensor and video data I witnessed, our national conversation would change.”
Keislar next told about his own meeting and talking with an extraterrestrial on a saucer-shaped craft, twice. He recalled, “In 1956, when I was nine years old, I was walking home from school through a wooded area one day, and in a clearing I saw a flying saucer parked, on three stilts, with a stairway leading up to an open doorway. There were five or six clearly non-human beings on the craft and the captain, a woman, invited me on board with a wave of her hand. When I reached her, she embraced me and spoke to me so tenderly and lovingly that I felt she was my real mother. In fact, when I got home, I told my biological mother, ‘You’re not my real mother!’ When I saw this captain of that flying saucer a second time, more than 35 years later, she looked the same age, about 25 or 30. Later, she explained that her people can live for thousands of years, so 35 of our years makes very little difference to them. She even left me physical evidence of our meeting so I would not think later that it may have been a dream or hallucination.”

At the end of the meeting, participants decided to form a study group and continue getting together at 3:00 p.m. on the third Sunday of every month at Hog Canyon Deli (16811 Yolo Ave., Esparto). They will also have an informal New Year’s Eve party there at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 31 December, mainly just to talk and get to know each other better. Everyone is invited to attend.

There are two types of diplomacy, one by official representatives of governments, and the other by private citizens. In this class, Dr. Keislar tells about his second physical meeting with an extraterrestrial lady whom he had first met at the age of nine (as he described in yesterday’s class).

This second meeting took place in San Francisco in the summer of about 1993, when Dr. Keislar was some 45 years old. However,  the extraterrestrial appeared the same age as she had in 1956, about 30 years old. (People of her race live for thousands of years, so 35 years or so is not long for them.)

A very interesting thing about this meeting is that the extraterrestrial lady left clear physical evidence of the meeting, so that Dr. Keislar would have no doubt that he had met her bodily, not merely in a dream or imagination.

Dr. Keislar also answers several interesting questions from the audience about extraterrestrials, about out-of-body travel and about time and timelines. He also explains that extraterrestrials usually communicate telepathically.

In this special talk, Dr. Keislar shares some of his experiences with intelligent beings from other planets. He told these stories in three high school classes two days ago after the teachers specifically asked him to teach their students about extraterrestrials. The school principal also wanted to hear these accounts, so to fulfill that request Dr. Keislar recorded this talk.

The first time Dr. Keislar met extraterrestrials was in 1956, when he was 9 years old. At that time he boarded a “flying saucer” and the captain was so kind and loving he felt like she must be his real mother, though she clearly was not human as her ears were on top of her head and the pupils of her eyes were not round but vertical. He met her again when he was about 45 years old, but she looked the same age, in her late 20’s or early 30’s.

Dr. Keislar also recalls his experience of being taken off planet in 1998 and observing a meeting of dozens of representatives of various non-terrestrials species who were discussing whether they should prevent a nuclear war from happening on Earth. This class discusses the idea that world peace can be achieved without humanity having to undergo a devastating world war. Such an international conflict, often called “Armageddon”, has been foretold by many saints and sages of various nations and religious traditions. One of the most specific of these prophecies was by the medieval French seer Nostradamus, who predicted that, in the seventh month of the year 1999, “From the sky will come the great King of Terror to resuscitate the great king of the Mongols.”

Dr. Keislar explains why he is confident this war will not take place. In the fall of 1998, he was taken off-planet to observe a meeting of representatives of many different extraterrestrial civilizations  who were discussing whether this war should be prevented. They expected that this “Armageddon” would begin the next year, in early summer, 1999. However, during the course of this meeting, a representative of higher authority informed them that this world war would NOT take place. Rather, the destiny of the world has been changed.

In this class, Dr. Keislar talks about a discussion he had this past weekend with Matthew Fox, leading American Christian mystic. He asked Matthew Fox several questions, based on extraterrestrial information and the ideas of some Muslim Sufi mystics.

When Keislar asked Fox about Allama Iqbal’s statement that “Allah is an individual”, Matthew Fox replied that in the West we talk about God as an individual, but the East has the idea of God as impersonal.

Keislar also asked about an idea Fox had mentioned, based on the teachings of Meister Eckhart, that “Being is God.” or God is being.” (The leading Christian theologian of the 20th century Paul Tillich called God “the ground of being”.) “What is the relationship of that being to consicousness?” Keislar asked, and Fox replied first that “Isness” is a better translation than “being”. (In the Bible God says, when Moses asked him who he is, “I am that I am.”)

Fox then went on to say that Thomas Aquinas, the leading Roman Catholic Christian theologian, stated that God’s fundamental characteristic is “joy” – so that means he must be conscious. When Keislar then asked whether that conscious God is an individual, Fox did not know how to answer. Keislar reported that he looks forward to discussing these topics further on 21 December, when he is scheduled to meet Fox in Berkeley.

In this class, Dr. Keislar explains that, after he was informed that Love (that is the Logos) and Light (that is “infinite energy”) are both infinite, he asked how this can be dealt with; is this not shirk (making partners with God)? He reports this is the answer he received:

Allah is one. However, as The Urantia Book says (118.5.3, p.1299), “Ever must God act to break the deadlock of the unqualified unity inherent in existential infinity.” Therefore, multiplicity exists. You may say that this is so in order that Allah may know himself in many ways, not just in himself.

No one is independent of Allah. Everyone, no matter how omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, etc., is dependent on, is a servant of, and seeks as its/his/her goal, Allah, the only one Source of everything. Allah is the only one who can never be dependent on anyone or anything else; Allah is the only reality which includes absolutely everything within itself; Allah is the only truth that has no other cause, and has no goal but himself/itself/herself.

The “shirk problem” therefore does not arise with the Logos or infinite energy.

However, the “shirk problem” is more difficult to avoid when one considers the internal goal of Allah, which is within the One and co-existent with the One Consciousness Inward in a way that nothing else is. The solution is only in this that this goal is, in every way, Allah himself. In other words, the goal is previous (philosophically, not in time) to the One’s “development” or use or awareness of free will, “previous” to the One’s awareness of manyness or otherness, previous indeed to the differentiation of anything from the One, or [to] its awareness of that possibility.

Then why do we even mention this “goal” as a possible cause of the accusation of shirk? Because this “goal “, which is also, in every way, the original Source of everything, is the only one reality (along with the One) which is not in any way dependent on nor subordinate to anything else, and is even, if anything, superior to the One due to the One’s own internal awareness, even before any expression of free will, or choice, or awareness of another or manyness, or any other action or thought, that there exists within itself a reciprocation so inescapable and refined that there is no way to define or understand itself without reference to this totally co-equal aspect of itself (co-equal to the extent that the One depends on it as much as it depends on him).

In other words, this is the nature of the One, to include reciprocation within itself. This may be impossible of the human mind to comprehend (for doesn’t reciprocation, to the mind, necessarily require two?), yet it is presented to us as an indisputable, if incomprehensible, fact. Nevertheless it is not incomprehensible, if one can only accept it as it is presented. To repeat, reciprocation is the very nature of the One, reciprocation with itself if we must necessarily conceive of it in this way – though this, too, is inadequate. Perhaps we can only say, “It is a mystery.” It is worthy of repetition yet one more time: reciprocation is the very nature of the One.

This means, to try to understand it from another angle, that the One, by its nature, also wants to have a goal. Since that goal can only be the One, the One must have within itself some incomprehensible “mechanism” by which it can be its own goal in such a way that it really “feels” to the One that this goal is something it must strive for, that is, that it is something other than itself. In other words, the One must create, within its own awareness, a sense of another reality that is superior to itself even though there can be no such reality. This entire “activity”, we must explain, exists within the One prior to any activity, or even to any awareness on the part of the One that it has free will or that anything other than itself exists. One final time we repeat, “Reciprocation is the very nature of the one.”

Therefore, “prior” to any external awareness, the One is eternally internally aware of its own reciprocation with its own internally generated goal. It all comes down to being able to appreciate the (perhaps incomprehensible”) fact that the One, although fully self-contained and self-satisfied (for everything is within it) nevertheless feels the need or has the desire, to strive for some greater goal than itself, a feeling that is intrinsic to the very nature and existence of the One. And, amazingly or interestingly, because the One is absolute and omnipotent so everything it thinks or feels has total reality, [therefore] its internal “goal” also “becomes” real (that is, eternally has reality) and has its own consciousness and desires, including the desire to have a goal, which is, of course, the One! Is this shirk? No, because the “goal” is the necessary generation of the One and is, in every way, the One itself, even though (as we have explained) the One feels that it is not, a feeling it must have to fulfill its desire (for a goal) and its nature (reciprocation). To be a little more accurate, we conclude with the observation that the One feels both that the “goal” is not itself, or is separate from itself, and that it is itself, and the goal, who is the only ideally perfect, totally independent and completely self-sufficient worshiper of the One, feels the very same way, namely that the One is both itself and not itself.
